“I think this healing was a very wonderful experience for me. I never thought I would have problems like emphysema and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) in both lungs. But when the diagnosis report was in front of me, everything was different. Because my father has COPD, I know that this disease cannot be cured at all and is irreversible. My eight-year-old daughter had been suffering from recurring, painful middle ear infections and intense nightmares since the age of three. Despite numerous doctor visits and various medical treatments – including up to twelve infections per year, antibiotic therapies, and most recently ear tubes – her condition even worsened. Particularly distressing for her were the hearing problems, the social withdrawal at school, and the feeling of being excluded.
